Renaissance

This movie was alot better then what I thought it was going to be. I do not etirely like the style that they decided to film it but its nothing that interferes with the movie. I find that the movie is good enough to see in the theatre.

Perfume: The Story of Murder

its an interesting movie but the ending is really weird and I dont really get it, also I dont really see any real point to this movie I suggest renting this movie instead of seeing it in the theatre.

Children of Men

Its an interesting movie. It has some twists that you wouldn't expect. I would consider this movie good enough to see in the theatre.

Dead or Alive

Aside from the really really hot women in skimpy clothing the rest of the movie turned out pretty well. I was expecting much worse, I think it even turned out as well as Mortal Kombat. Its decent enough movie to see in the theatre.

Happy Feet

Its not as funny as I thought it was going to be, and it turns out to be more political then what would be expected for a animated movie. The music is great, the story was alright but its kind of long for the type of movie it is. Its good enough to see in the theatre but do not expect to laugh as much.

Tanacious D: The Pick of Destiny

Its an entertaining movie but I liked it better as a music video instead of turning it into a full length movie. The movie is good enough for fans of Jack Black to see in a theatre but for everyone else it would be best to just rent it.

Babel

They did a very good job of connecting everyone in the movie together. I did not find the japanese story line had much importance to keep in the movie. In the end this is more of a rental movie then a big screen movie.

Bobby

I thought it was a pretty good movie, although I dont like the fact that the entire movie was before the shooting. It might have been nice to see what happens to the people after the shooting. In the end it would best to rent this movie instead of seeing it in the theatre.

The Fountain

Its an interesting movie, its more of a date movie. But it does have one of the most interesting death scenes ever put on film, even though its so short

The Prestige

The prestige is pretty similar to The Illusionist. The Prestige does a better job with the varieties of magic you see. The love stories are not the emphasis of the movie like it is in The Illusionist, this movie more focuses on the competition between the 2 magicians. I Liked both movies and I consider the prestige good enough to see in the theatre.

Home of the Brave

I watched this movie with no expectations and I found that this was not a very good movie. I understood the movie was trying to show something but in the end they never managed to get their point off very well. The performances were poor, it felt like the actors were waiting to be told directions to what they're doing. My final verdict save your money and just rent it.

Rocky Balboa

It was alot better then what I thought it would be but not as good as the first movies. If your a big fan of the series I think it would be worth it to spend the money to see in a theatre, if you're not a big fan just wait until its on DVD

Blood Diamond

It's a great movie with tons of action and some good acting. I would definitely suggest seeing this movie in the theatres.

Eragon

See this movie with very low expectations and you will be etertained for a little while. The movie has its moments but overall its not very good and I highly suggest you do noy waste your money at the theatre with this movie.

Pan's Labyrinth

I warn you this movie is not for young children, there are alot of graphic deaths in this movie. With that being said this is a fantastic movie with a very interesting story, if you want to watch a movie on christmas I highly suggest you go to the theatre to see this movie.

The Pursuit of Happyness

I was very disapointed in this movie. The length was to long, the pacing was slow, alot of the time was spent on Will Smith running around. This is a good rental movie not something to see in a theatre.

Curse of the Golden Flower

I can't give a proper opinion about this movie because I did not watch the entire film. The version I downloaded had barely readable subs, but what skimmed through showed me enough. This movie is very similar along the lines of Hero and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon but there is alot less fighting and alot more talking. It's like hero but with 3 or 4 fight scenes replaced with more talking. You shouldn't be that annoyed with the discussions going on in the movie, they reminded me of a soap opera style of writing. Should you see this movie in a theatre, probably visually the movie looks great and is worth seeing on the big screen but overalll I dont know.

Van Wilder 2: The Rise of Taj

Its a funny movie but its poorly written and poorly directed. The general story has been done so many times and so much better that you finish the movie disapointed. This a rental movie and not worth the money to see in the theatre
