Venus
This is not the type of movie I would see in the theatre, so I would give it a rental rating. The story was interesting and the acting was great, but for me it got boring after a while.
This Film Is Not Yet Rated
This is more of a rental movie. It was interesting to learn about the American movie ratings board and it just makes me even more glad that I am Canadian.
Epic Movie
What a horrible movie, the acting was bad, the story was bad, and the jokes were bad. Definitely a download movie.
Smokin' Aces
The movie starts off fine, the middle of the movie was great, but then they drop the ball at the end of the movie. If the movie had a better ending I would have said see it in the theatre's but I suggest just renting it on DVD.
Goal! 2: Living the Dream
The first movie was pretty bad and this sequel ends up being worse. They tried to do character development but the plot was so poor there wasn't much to work with. The sub plot had even less to work with. This movie gets a download rating.
Hannibal Rising
Overall this is a rental movie. I just can't get past them having Hannibal's aunt (or whatever she was) be Japanese. The story was good and so was the acting
Ghost Rider
I am very tempted to give this movie a download rating, but overall this is a rental movie. The story was decent, and the acting was terrible. The only thing I liked about this movie was the special effects.
Music and Lyrics
This is a really good movie to see in the theatres. The acting and story was good, that Britney Spears like pop star was hilarious and so was Hugh Grant as the 80s pop star. The only thing I didn't like was the music, it just wasn't my style.
Bridge to Terabithia
This is a really good movie, worth seeing in the theatre. I've never read the book so I dont know how far it deviates. The story was good with interesting surprises. The acting was great. I cant think of anything that I did not like about this movie.
Highlander: the source
Now I am a fan of the highlander franchise and I was excited to see this movie, but after I saw it I was extremely disappointed. Seeing all the characters were great but the story was horrible the special effects were bad and the villain was just stupid. They have this super speed mode which does not work with the highlander franchise. Highlander: The Source is definitely a download movie.

Alpha Dog
It is suprisingly a good movie, worth the money you spend to see in a theatre. The story was fine and the acting was fine, nothing really bothered me.
Letters from Iwo Jima
Even though it is a depressing movie it is still a great movie to see in the theatre. In my opinion its the best movie Clint Eastwood has ever been a part of.
My Academy Award Picks
Pass means that I either have not watched any of the movies they chose, did not like their choices, or just did not know how to judge a winner for that subject.

Haven
Haven is an interesting movie its not everyday you see Shakespearean style stories taking place in the Cayman Islands. Its good enough for the theatre for some people a rental for everyone else.
Code Name: The Cleaner
Its not a very good movie, the jokes were not that funny the story was nothing special. I would say download this movie instead of renting.
The Last King of Scotland
This is a pretty good movie, its missing that little something to make it worthy enough to spend the money to see in the theatre.
Freedom Writers
This is a really good movie its debatable wheather its worth to spend the money to see in the theatre. I would personally rent this movie instead of going to a theatre.

Offside
Its an interesting story but not a lot goes on in this movie. This is more of a rental movie then a movie to see in the theatres.
The U.S. vs. John Lennon
I know very little about John Lennon so for me this movie is very informative. Its not the type of movie I would see in the theatre but it would definitely be something I would rent on DVD.
Arthur and the Invisibles
I was avoiding this movie because it seemed like it was a poorly thought out movie but after watching it I was pleasantly surprised its a very fun movie to take your kids to the theatres.

The Good Shepherd
This movie is more of a rental than it is worth seeing in the theatre. It lacks action and actual spying for it to be worth seeing in the theatre but the story was interesting enough for me to keep my attention. There was only a small part of the story that confused me which involved Matt Damon's son other then that it was a good movie.
Night at the Museum
Its a fun and entertaining movie good enough to see in the theatres. I was surprised to see other big name actors in this movie, which made the movie even more entertaining.
We are Marshall
This is more of a rental movie but even so it is still a good movie. Im glad they focused more on the emotional state of the players, staff, and town instead of focusing on the football. It works in this movie where other sports movies failed to do so.
